As the apprentice hunts down rogue Jedi using his destructive Force Powers, he becomes interwoven in the formation of the Rebel Alliance. Taking place before the events of the original trilogy of Star Wars films, The Force Unleashed tells the story of Darth Vader's secret apprentice (code-named "Starkiller"), whom he trains in secret to betray Emperor Palpatine. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a third-person action-adventure game developed and published by LucasArts for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2008 (September 16 in North America, September 19 in Europe, and October 9 in Japan).
